Microsoft Editor

Editor, an AI-powered service that enables you to write with confidence in 20+ languages, was the focus of this video I worked on with foam Studio. The film is accompanied by another beautiful soundtrack by the people at Zelig Sound.

The goal of this UX film was to create a playful interpretation of the AI that drives this feature, how it does its magic, correcting spelling, grammar and giving you intelligent suggestions on how to improve your writing. The campaign initially consisted of three social media clips that we then connected within one longer edit.

 
 

As usual, our creative process led us to explore lots of different potential visualizations for both what the AI and the interfaces would look like. We wanted for it all to be closely connected as if the AI of editor and each app’s UX were essentially experienced as one.

After lots of directions were explored, we settled on a look and feel that was casual and unobtrusive. Each app was deconstructed and its most crucial elements re-created as physical objects that the editor feature interacts with.
