UI Visualizations

I created a variety of images and animations for the many product design articles Microsoft has published over the years. These have often highlighted UI in novel ways, focusing on the details and craftsmanship of specific aspects of the interface elements. Below are some of the examples of this work.

Images I provided direction for in the release of our new mobile design language for Microsoft 365. This article explains more about the icon system and this one speaks to the mobile framework as a whole.

Below are various exploratory wallpaper designs for the Surface line-up, which were all inspired by Surface’s color, material and finish samples.

When I joined the Office design group in 2017, I worked on the artwork for the very first design article which featured the latest designs of Office apps under the concept of Power & Simplicity, an effort to strip away complexities from the Office apps and infuse more AI & Intelligence, making experiences more dynamic and contextual and saving customers time while they are in the flow. Below are some of those images, many of which made it into this article.

Thank you!

Thanks to Jon Friedman, Rachel Romano, Joline Tang and other contributors to the many stories we’ve published and which prompted the creation of most of these artworks.
