Dimensional Emoji

Having worked on a real emoji system, I am fascinated with the idea of potentially creating a system that is entirely generative, and which could allow users to generate custom new emojis in real-time.

This experiment with Midjourney was my first attempt at creating a desirable aesthetic for a new system. One that could not only pop off the surfaces of digital experiences, but also do so in somewhat calm and delightful ways.
